Ok, I have my New Years resolution....I promise to be better at blogging consistently. I will do better in 2012. Since we made the decision on where to move, there has been so much stuff to do and houses to find and items to pack that the blogging got away from me. Not in 2012. Cross my heart.
So this Saturday morning we are leaving Toronto in the dust. We are already packed for the most part and are just wrapping our final things up like work, apartment walk thru's and cable stuff.
Our trip- 6 whole months here- has come full circle. In June when we came to Toronto to look for a place to live we met up with Mike and Laura for the first time at the Mill Street Brewery. We had only seen a few pictures of them and knew very little about them. Funny how we can't imagine this journey without them.
On Tuesday we all had our final family dinner at the Mill Street Pub to celebrate Ben's birthday and Mike and Laura's last night in town. Ending our Toronto stop just as it began! It was a great time and I am beyond excited to have our friends all together for another experience in Europe.
We officially have a house in Malta too! We found a 3 bedroom, 3 bath place overlooking the water in the city of Sliema. All 5 of us will be living together for 8 weeks, and beyond that we are unsure what the future holds.
As for now we are headed to Pittsburgh to spend Christmas with all of the Myers. Then it is on to Memphis for a Cordelli Christmas. Finally it will be NYE and we will be flying to Malta. It has been a crazy/busy/exciting 6 months and it doesn't appear to be slowing down....

We will be sharing more stories and rambling thoughts as soon as we get to Malta. Hope everyone enjoys the remaining days of this year.
