And we are headed to...

We finally made a decision about where we will be moving to in January...nothing like leaving this choice down to the wire. We really appreciated all of the feedback when we posted about our two choices. I know the popular vote was Thailand; however, we are headed to Malta in January. More specifically, we are moving to the St. Julian's/Sliema area of Malta.


We are really interested in moving to Chiang Mai, Thailand, but there have been some recent developments that helped us make our decision. First off, we have a lot of places and things we want to do and see in Europe so moving to Malta will allow us to see more of the items on our list. We are really going to take advantage of our location over the next 6 months and enjoy a little European adventure.

Also, after a lot of discussions and planning it looks like Mike, Laura and Ben will be heading to Malta too. We are on the move as a group! I am very excited to have my partner in crime for a bit longer. We are all looking at being in Malta for 2 months then heading to England. But nothing is set in stone for anyone else. Dan and I are planning on England for 5 or 6 months after Malta for sure, maybe taking a few weeks in between to travel in Italy. Who knows. At least we have January and February figured out!

So, Europe get ready because we are excited for some fun! I will keep y'all updated on the living situation, etc. Right now I know close to nothing about Malta....we are all constantly searching the internet for information. It should be fun and definitely different.
