Today I ventured out to a beach in Toronto called Sugar Beach. Cute little area with sand, beach chairs and umbrellas on the side of one of the Great Lakes. It is an old parking lot that the city transformed into a little beach next to a Sugar Refinery downtown. You can't swim in the lake at this beach, but it's right on the water and a great escape from the city.
These pictures make it look like it wasn't a great day, but it was sunny for a few hours this afternoon. Its about to storm and is supposed to rain for the next two days. It was nice to be outside before two days of indoor activities.
We have been making a list of things we want to do this summer while we are here, and we realized last night that this is the last week of July and we need to get a move on it.
I think we may try to see a Blue Jays game on Sunday. Should be a good time.
