Our big adventure today was going to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Dan and I walked about 2 miles to the fabulous movie theater & Imax called ScotiaBank Theater. We saw the movie in 3D Imax. Quite the experience!
It was significantly cooler outside today- like 85 degrees- so we decided to walk and enjoy some sunshine. Not a bad walk, and we figure we should enjoy the weather now before the cold comes to town.
So 3-D & Imax. Crazy way to see a movie. We are uncertain how Imax differs from 3-D alone, but we enjoyed it none-the-less. Either way the 3-D added an extra excitement to the film with various things jumping off the screen and the flying scenes feeling real. I personally was terrified like a 5 year old of the snake scenes :) The movie was great and a fantastic end to the Harry Potter series. Dan and Laura have both read the books and discussed how the movie differed from the book, but the vote was still 2 thumbs up from everyone.
Basically that was our day. We are now eagerly awaiting the premier of Entourage Season 8 to hang out with Vince and the boys for the last time. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
