Well, this may have been the worst weekend in sports for the Myers. We lost a tough game in the Notre Dame vs. Michigan on Saturday night. It got ugly. Then yesterday, the Steelers were crushed by the Ravens. Booo football this weekend. Hopefully it will get better for both teams or it could be a very loonnngggg season.

About a month ago, we thought it would be fun to watch the Steelers first game at the Real Sports Bar. It is apparently the largest sports bar in North America. Laura and Mike had been there before and really liked it for game watching, so we all thought it would be fun.

So yesterday, we all went down to the Real Sports Bar and two other poker players joined us. It was a great time- minus the game- with good food, beers, and friends. Canada is funny in that the bar was packed yesterday for all of the NFL games, but Saturday was strange with no one at home watching college football. Just a very different atmosphere up here regarding college football.

We also were able to hang out with some friends from The World Series of Poker last summer that have just moved up to Toronto. I am super excited that there are more people here that we know and hopefully will mean some fun nights out and about with everyone! Things are definitely looking up in Toronto!
