Yesterday, Dan, Mike, Laura & I headed over to the Royal Ontario Museum for a few hours of free entertainment. On Wednesdays, the ROM has free admission from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm so we thought we would check it out.
The museum isn't known for one type of thing- like the MOMA is Modern Art or the Natural History Museum is...Natural History. The ROM has a mixture of everything. There are three floors of different exhibits. They had exhibits of Korea, Japan & China, Europe, Italian & Greek History, Bollywood, Dinosaurs, Birds, Water Life, Bats....everything.
We found a few 'artifacts' on our trip around the world.

Laura with the "Liberty Bell" |
|
Dan with the "Goblet of Fire" from Harry Potter |
|
Mike's "Statue of Liberty" or Mike's version of "The David" |
|
Katie at the "Great Wall of China" |
So on a rainy afternoon, we made the most of it and had a great time exploring the museum. We are trying to find some Canadian things to do during our time here. Still on the list- Honest Ed's, the CN Tower, the Hockey Museum, seeing a Blue Jays game, a Canadian football game, and more. Be on the lookout for more excellent photography from our jaunts around Toronto.
