Put Us Down in Ink...

You can all finally put us down in ink! Dan & I have decided to build a house in Durham, NC. The picture above is our lot's sold sign! Right now it is just a muddy lot, but come August it will be a perfect house.

Dan & I have really enjoyed living in North Carolina. We have been looking around the area and found a great neighborhood that was just voted the "Best Community of 2009." Our house will be one of the last built in phase 1. There are 4 or 5 phases of homes before the community is full, but we already have neighbors on both sides. The neighborhood also been awarded "Best Builder of 2009."

The Hills at Southpoint is located one mile from a large outdoor/indoor mall with lots of stores and great restaurants- Macy's, Nordstroms, Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, Best Buy, Target, JCrew, Home Goods, a Theater, Firebirds, Pottery Barn, etc. We are also about 1 mile from I-40 which is convenient.

We have been working closely for the last month or so with a few people at the Toll Brothers Design Center as well as at the neighborhood Sales Center. As of today all of our design options have been chosen. I promise to include pictures as things are built and items go into the house.

By August, right before we take our trip to Greece and Italy the house should be finished and we should be all moved in. Our new address beginning in August will be 311 South Bend Drive Durham, NC 27713. We can't wait for y'all to all visit since we will have plenty of space!
