And He's Off.....

Dan is officially finished with vacation. He is back to work after a long 3 month 'break.'

I am very excited for Dan since he has been looking forward to getting back to work since the day it ended. He is so incredibly talented and smart, and that he has a job that he loves so much just makes it all worth it.

It is a welcome change that he is back working, especially today. It has been a quiet Monday here, and I am missing home a bit today. So when he told me work was back on, in that exact moment, it reminded me why we are here and what we are working towards.

Every once in a while when you're in a funk, it's nice to have a reminder of what all the hard work and crazy past weeks were for. Today it feels, again, like we made the right decision and it will all be ok!

We went to Mike & Laura's last night for dinner- a Vegan meal!- and some Settlers of Catan. I am headed back to the St. Lawrence Market tomorrow with Laura for a nice afternoon of shopping and browsing.
